DJ / Beatmaker · Tokyo

BeatsHouseCool & forward

Tokyo DJ and beatmaker with a cool, refreshing sound — back DJ for honoka of lol, releases on LOSER RECORDS and Cheeba Cheeba Records, and the designer of her own sleeves and flyers.

3icrowave is a Tokyo-based DJ and beatmaker. Alongside her own releases she writes for rappers and singers; her tracks carry shadowed melodies with a sense of pushing forward, and her DJ sets are built on a cool, refreshing sound that reflects those roots in production. Her creativity reaches further still — she designs record sleeves and event flyers too.

She started DJing around 2016 and has since played guest sets in Korea and Taiwan as well as across Japan. From 2023 she has been the dedicated back DJ for the solo project of honoka, a member of the avex dance-vocal group lol, and is involved in the sound production of the songs. In October that year she DJed at Aminé's Japan show at ZERO Tokyo.

In 2024 she appeared at the Japan show of LA beatmaker crew BEAT CHINEMA, regulars at Coachella, and the following year released a collaboration with BEAT CHINEMA's wave Groove on physical format through Osaka's LOSER RECORDS. In September 2025 she played the party of Steven Julien's UK label Apron Records and provided a DJ mix for Melbourne radio Area3000.

In March 2026 she toured Taiwan, DJing at the Art Book Fair at Taipei Performing Arts Center — the biggest stage of her career so far — and in September joined a compilation released by UK record and cassette label Cheeba Cheeba Records.

An artist with a trace of restlessness, always moving forward, balancing nerd and geek in exactly the right measure.

Alongside his work as a DJ and artist, he spent more than 15 years working across the music industry in event production, promotion, A&R, booking, PR, club and live venue operations, and program production for platforms including DOMMUNE. In 2015, he founded the party-making collective THE GUEST HOUSE, which continues to organize regular events at Aoyama HACHI and ENTER Shibuya. His recent DJ sets move across DUB, BASS MUSIC, DEEP / MINIMAL and PROGRESSIVE, drawing on nearly 30 years of musical experience to create long-form journeys that gradually transform the atmosphere of the floor. He also performs improvisational hardware-based live sets.

Having moved between rock and club music, underground culture and the professional music industry, and the roles of artist and organizer, Da Yama now also works as a Curator / Project Director, connecting artists, collectives, cities and cultures across Japan and abroad.

SuperUser is a UK-born, Tokyo-based DJ and producer with over fifteen years experimenting in techno and house. An artist shaped equally by British rave lineage and Tokyo's cerebral underground, with the ability to move fluently between the two. Venue co-founder, festival organizer and multi-residency DJ, he has been a significant presence in the Tokyo scene for over a decade, and an established producer since the 2024 release of Emergent Phenomena on Plus Future Records.

His sets are not mere mixes; they are narratives — spanning the gritty undertones of Detroit, the soulful rhythms of Africa, the experimental edge of Europe, and the avant-garde vibrations of Japan. Whether grounding a room in the foundational 4/4 or venturing into broken basslines and kaleidoscopic percussion, each performance reflects a relentless pursuit of musical exploration.

Tokyo's club scene and the UK's rich musical heritage are the backdrop to that evolution. Regular appearances at legendary venues including Womb, Vent and Ageha earned him respect across the Tokyo circuit, while festivals like Re:Birth, Brightness and Harmony cemented his place within the Japanese electronic underground. He currently holds residencies at Euforia, SBS, and Tokyo Beer Lab — the venue he co-founded — where he runs his ongoing series MannerMode. As a driving force behind LiQUiD festival, a member of the Intergalactic founding team, and the figure behind pioneering techno and house events including Unbound and Rundfunk, his reach across the industry is undeniable.

Techno is, to her, a music that transforms consciousness through repetition. Drawn to its structural beauty, refinement, and the freedom embedded within its culture, she drivenly pushes forward with her artistic pursuits through sound.

Dark, deep, and hypnotic. Rooted in low-slung, four-on-the-floor rhythms, she fluidly traverses the space between minimal and groove-driven textures. Rather than relying on dramatic drops, she designs a unique space through meticulous layering and sonic texture, guiding the floor into deep immersion with an underlying narrative.

A fixture in the Tokyo scene, she performs at major venues like WOMB and VENT, while also holding a residency at DRUNKEN KONG's premier event, "INTENTION". Additionally, she organizes the dark / hypnotic techno party "ASTRAL" and contributes as a staff member for Ableton Meetup Tokyo.

In moments of intense focus, as external noise fades and awareness turns inward, the dance floor becomes a space for collective unity and, simultaneously, a private dialogue with oneself. Through this experience, she projects her core elements: "Love," "Music," and "Peace."
